im 66 years old and freshly had a pelvic examine the doctor used that big widespread thing that they insert to achieve a visual on evrything and everything turn out to be fine except she couldnt seem to be to locate my left ovary...the right one be there but what on floor couldve happened to the other one? did it dissolve away or something or can it be that difficult to see sometimes?Where on dust did my ovarie travel????
you involve an ultrasound exam..and at your age consider it a blessing the dang this has hit the road
Your ovary can not simply disappear. Also, when you hold a pelvic exam, they do not "look" for your ovaries as they are not visual, so what be the doctor talking give or take a few? A pelvic exam consists of only hold a pap done and checking the cervix.
I have hear of ovaries drying up and possibly falling out.
